Research Associate Specialist

Research Associate Specialist responsible for analyses of sugar samples, undertaking research projects, and training industrial personnel. The incumbent will be responsible for quantitative and quality control of all analytical work and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained. The Research Associate Specialist will also be expected to ensure that all work is accurate and completed in a timely manner, and the results are reported in the appropriate written format.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or closely related field
• Experience in chemical research or analyses
• Proficiency with instruments such as gas and liquid chromatography
• Experience with advanced analytical methods used in sugar processing research
