Paralegal, Litigation

Lowenstein Sandler seeks a Paralegal, Litigation to assist Litigation attorneys in all phases of the litigation process, from discovery to trial and appeals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a litigation paralegal in a large law firm with demonstrated knowledge of New York and New Jersey federal, state, and local court rules, procedures, and practice.

Requirements

• Adherence to all administrative deadlines
• Timely completion of all goals
• Regularly check e-mail
• Meet all billable requirements
• Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files
• Maintain a docket for each pending matter
• Handle court filings and service of process
• Review all incoming documents and court papers
• Maintain a diary, calendar, and/or tickler system
• Assist with the preparation of court filings
• Perform research using various research tools
• Draft discovery documents and pleadings
• Work closely with Practice Support and team attorneys
• Responsible for all phases of trial and arbitration preparation
• Coordinate and prepare documents for production
