Associate Director of National and International Fellowships

The Associate Director of National and International Fellowships coordinates the university-wide effort to counsel, mentor, and prepare students for prestigious national and international scholarships, fellowships, and awards.

Requirements

• Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• A Master's Degree is preferred
• Minimum three years academic experience
• Previous experience serving as an academic advisor
• Experience working with high achieving students
• Demonstrated knowledge of the application process to domestic and international graduate and professional school programs
• Experience working with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary faculty groups
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse student groups as program administrator or participant
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task to meet campus deadlines
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and possess strong interpersonal skills
• Evidence of ability to work effectively with diverse groups including students, faculty, administration, and staff
• Experience in situations requiring keen judgment and discretion
• Experience with project and budget coordination is essential
• Experience with program planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainability preferred
• Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information
• Demonstrated computer competency
