Job Description
The Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) is seeking a non-tenure track Instructor of Chemistry and Biochemistry to teach undergraduate courses and contribute to departmental service. The successful candidate must have an advanced degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry and be committed to teaching and promoting diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Chemistry and Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and promoting equitable and inclusive classrooms
- Ability to teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses in Chemistry and Biochemistry
- Help with departmental assessment, curriculum updates, and committee representation
