Job Description
Lightspeed Construction Group is seeking experienced drop bury crews with the right equipment and insurance. The position focuses on high-spectrum rates within the Onanock, Exmore, Onley, Bloxom and surrounding areas, requiring operation of machinery such as tugboats and portable bore drillers. Crews must be able to dig concrete and asphalt, locating equipment, and ensuring the safety of the construction work zone.
Requirements
- Your own equipment, vehicles, and insurance
- Machines capable of burying drop conduit
- Directional boring capabilities (preferred)
- Experience with fiber and coax cutovers
- Ability to perform driveway and road bores
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
- Availability to work weekends (6-day work week)
- Trenching or vibratory plow machinery with bore attachments
- Compatible smartphone
- Insurance coverage: Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers' Compensation
- Signal meter (e.g., VEEX CX310 or equivalent)
