Job Description
This role involves identifying user, customer, and stakeholder needs, translating them into technical requirements, and assisting business units in expressing their needs. The engineer will also work with stakeholders to define constraints and develop requirements. Identification and management of technical risks and prototyping are key aspects of the position. The position also requires TS/SCI clearance.
Requirements
- Identify, analyze, define, and coordinate user, customer and stakeholder needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Assist business units in expressing their needs in terms that can be used to generate valid requirements.
- Identify technology solutions that can improve business processes.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide assistance to project or program teams.
- Evaluate industry offerings to identify potential solutions.
- Identify and manage dependencies with other systems of the IT infrastructure.
- Identify and manage the technical risks of selected solutions.
