Animal Care Technician

To perform all necessary functions in maintaining the shelter in a thoroughly clean and sanitary manner, providing humane care for all animals, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Requirements

• Provide humane care for all animals in the Society's care.
• Clean and disinfect all animal areas as necessary.
• Feed and ensure water is available at all times for all animals.
• Perform euthanasia in accordance with Society policies and California laws.
• Perform light maintenance and other janitorial duties.
