Maintenance Mechanic

Lubrizol is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and repairing processing and utility equipment in the plant, ensuring the safety and reliability of the operating chemical plant. The role requires 3+ years of skilled industrial maintenance experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years skilled industrial maintenance experience
• Familiarity with ISO procedures, plumbing, millwrighting, rigging, rotating/stationary equipment repair, metal fabrication, insulating, and reading prints/diagrams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent math, reading comprehension, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to follow departmental practices, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Ability to safely work independently and in a team setting
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays and call-ins
