We are looking for team members that enjoy and thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment. Luby's is known for its made from scratch menu. As a Cook or in Food Production, you will acquire great culinary skills and have opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred, but is not required - we will train you!
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to read and follow recipes to maintain consistency and high quality menu items
• Must have good organizational skills
• Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on the restaurant’s needs
• Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
• Must be a team player
• Will need to be certified on specific equipment such as a Band Saw, Buffalo Chopper, Meat Tenderizer, Mixer and Potato Peeler (this will take place after hiring)
