The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is seeking a Recruiter to join the People & Culture team for a 6-month contract, benefits-eligible position. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and presenting candidates across multiple departments while maintaining an exemplary, equitable, and engaging hiring process and candidate experience.
Requirements
- Implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
- Review resumes, applications, and other candidate materials to assess qualifications, skills, and experience
- Conduct initial phone or video interviews to evaluate the candidate’s suitability for specific roles
- Collaborate with hiring manager to understand position requirements, assess cultural fit, and develop effective candidate evaluation criteria
- Utilize applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools to track candidate progress, maintain accurate candidate records, and generate recruitment reports on metrics
- Provide departmental administrative and clerical support, as directed by the CPCO
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies throughout the recruitment process
- Supports the job description review process to ensure compliance and correct FLSA classification
- Assists with updating and tracking candidate activities in the museum’s applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies
- Assists with a range of special projects as assigned
