Job Description
Lucid is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to lead the planning and implementation of in-plant logistics systems, processes, and material handling/storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering expertise and proven ability to work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Collaborate with the high-performing logistics engineering team
- Drive strategic initiatives including network design, capacity planning, cost-to-serve modeling, and logistics performance improvements
- Design and optimize warehouse layouts, material handling systems, and logistics flows using AutoCAD, simulation tools, and engineering analysis
- Evaluate and implement automation technologies (e.g., conveyors, ASRS, AGVs, robotics) to enhance productivity and throughput
- Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement
- Contribute to lean logistics and continuous improvement efforts, including Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects
