Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Paint Shop Production Manager to lead and train Paint Shop Operations teams, ensuring business goals are met in Safety, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environmental factors. The role involves leading paint shop processes, employee development, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards. The company focuses on creating a luxury electric vehicle experience with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an automotive paint shop
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven experience with paint shop layouts, conveyor systems, robots, and spraying equipment
- Understanding of coating chemistry and paint material types
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
