As a Clinical Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal delivery of clinical pharmaceutical services to our clients, brokers, and consultants. This position requires a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Requirements
- Ability to drive clinical conversations with confidence and strategic insight
- Uses data to develop and present clinical strategies to meet client needs
- Works effectively within and across teams to achieve common goals
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and deliver value to clients
- In depth knowledge of managed care pharmacy and formulary management
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of experience in PBM, managed care, or clinical pharmacy account management roles
- Strong knowledge of formulary management, specialty pharmacy, biosimilars, and healthcare cost-containment strategies
- Proven ability to communicate complex clinical concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated success in relationship management with external clients and cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on outcomes-based solutions
- Experience with GLP-1 utilization management and specialty drug trends preferred
- Ability to travel as needed to meet client and business demands
- Active pharmacist license in good standing, in at least one state
- At least 3 years in managed care, pharmacy benefit management, or specialty pharmacy
