Job Description
Build, program, set up, and operate robots, and make necessary modifications to equipment to ensure proper motion, troubleshoot robots and weld controllers, and maintain safety standard for all parts of the equipment.
Requirements
- Read blueprints to determine correct sequential processing for welding product
- Work with Engineering to develop welding fixtures
- Create Robotic welding programs
- Setup robotic welders to execute welding programs
- Teach operators proper sequence in loading fixtures
- Validate weld integrity with nondestructive test
- Measure final product to Customer blueprint
- Review weld times to validate accuracy
- Report accurate quantities in ERP system
- Follow Company Quality and Safety policies
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Load & Operate Robot to satisfy Customer Specifications
- Manage and coordinate Preventative Maintenance schedule to ensure equipment is operating to manufacturers specifications
