Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager, this position is responsible for leading the execution and coordination of engineering activities, including leading projects within scope, schedule, and cost, and providing technical support to field and construction groups.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college
- Professional Engineering License issued by the Puerto Rico Examining Board for Engineers, Architects, Surveyors and Landscape Architects
- 8 years of applicable engineering experience or a combination of education and applicable engineering experience
- Master's degree counts as one year
- Business knowledge in the utility & regulated environment
- Proven experience applying sound judgment to make decisions
- Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers
- Excellent team player and ability to prioritize assignments to meet commitments
- Problem-solving skills with proven ability to resolve engineering issues
- Mentor to junior engineers, specialists, and designers
