Lead IT Systems Engineer - PUB SEC

Lumen is looking for a Lead IT Systems Engineer to join their team. The role requires experience in cloud service providers, trouble ticketing, engineering support, and vendor product coordination. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate technical information to various audiences.

Requirements

• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to interact with various levels of senior management, as necessary
• Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project priorities
• Self-driven and able to find problems and enroll others to solve them
• Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge in Menlo Security – Secure Enterprise Browser, containers (Docker/LXC), and networking
• Excellent monitoring and alerting experience, familiarity with Service Now preferred
• Solid understanding of technology fundamentals enabling cloud – compute, storage, networking, and security
• Knowledge of current cloud architecture, best practices, tools, and frameworks as well as emerging technologies, trends and processes
