Job Description
We're seeking a Principal/Staff Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative semiconductor lasers. The role involves opto-mechanical design, mechanical design, and interaction with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Expertise in opto-mechanical design for Telecom and/or commercial laser products
- Experience in material selection/specifications
- Expertise in mechanical design of high precision fixture/tooling and manufacturing equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with fiber optics
- MS/PhD in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 10+ years’ experience in mechanical design
- US citizenship or permanent residence
