Job Description
This position is responsible for all aspects of As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) planning for high exposure maintenance projects, for the planning of Radiation Protection support activities, and for providing the Radiation Protection staff with sufficient details to ensure the safe implementation of both on-line and outage Radiation Work Permits (RWPs) and ALARA plans at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station.
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Health Physics or Radiation Protection + 4 years related experience –or-
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years related work experience -or-
- Associates degree in engineering technology, chemistry, radiation protection or related field + 5 years related work experience -or-
- Navy Nuclear ELT -or-
- 5 years related work experience
