The Plant Support Engineer provides technical expertise and operational support across a broad range of plant systems and components.

Requirements

B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other closely related scientific discipline/physical science associated with power plant operations; or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of related job experience
Prior experience in the nuclear industry is favorable
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries
Effective written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical issues
Ability to influence and build effective working relationships across departments
In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and system interrelationships
Capability to evaluate technical alternatives considering economic impact
Skilled in applying systematic problem-solving processes to address complex issues
