Job Description
The Protection and Control Supervisor will lead a team of P&C Technicians in supporting the Vistra generation fleet, improving operation and maintenance of plant protective relaying and metering, and troubleshooting emergent problems. The role involves providing P&C leadership, subject matter expertise, and support for Fossil Generation, as well as managing a department budget and developing positive relationships with management and plant staffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of P&C experience
- Associate of Science degree or technical degree in related field and 7-10 years of relevant experience in the P&C field
- 10-15 years of related technical experience in P&C and a strong working knowledge of electrical system protection
- Excellent people skills and self-motivation
- Proficient with MS Office, and relay-related software
- Minimum of 2 years of supervision experience
