Job Description
Vistra is seeking an experienced Valve Component Engineer to support the nuclear fleet. This position is responsible for providing technical leadership and engineering support for all valve-related equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear) from an accredited program
- Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience with a focus on valve-related equipment
- Relevant certifications in valve maintenance and engineering (e.g., MOV certification) are preferred
- Experience in overseeing vendor activities related to valve refurbishment and maintenance
- Ability to develop and implement component-specific programs for valve reliability
- Experience in preparing component health reports and monitoring component performance
