Civil Project Designer

Lumos & Associates is seeking a motivated Civil Project Designer to join their Reno office and support a growing portfolio of civil engineering projects across Northern Nevada. The role involves supporting the planning and design of civil engineering projects, contributing to the development of a strong foundation in civil engineering design within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in civil engineering design or a related role.
• Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification (passed FE exam), preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including preparation of site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
• Basic understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles.
• Familiarity with GIS software (such as ArcGIS/ArcPro) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (3 or fewer demerit points)
