Youth Care Specialist Part Time

Lutheran Services Florida is seeking a Youth Care Specialist to make an impact in the lives of others. The role involves supervising youth, providing quality care, and ensuring a safe and secure environment. The part-time role requires a 2nd shift and 3rd shift schedule, including mandatory weekends.

Requirements

• Detects and envisions potential safety and security hazards to youth in residence
• Participates in the implementation and monitoring of client case plans
• Assists with day-to-day maintenance of the facility
• Screens clients and conducts initial intakes
• Coordinates and assists with youth intakes and orientation
• Supervises youth as needed to include preparation of meals and completion of chores
• Supervises and schedules maintenance and upkeep of the program vehicles
• Performs related work as required and as directed by the Program Manager
