Job Description
We are seeking a Positive Support Specialist to work in our Intensive Community Residential Services (ICRS) programs, serving individuals with intensive medical, behavioral and mental health needs. As a PSS team member, you will assist individuals to be more independent, advocate for their rights and needs, and engage in trauma-informed care.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
- Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods of time, and lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of local community resources is a plus.
- Must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a driver's license
