Home Care Assistant

Home Care Assistant position available with Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI), assisting clients with daily living activities and providing home care services.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) or one (1) year experience in a comparable human service capacity, or one (1) year experience in caring for a dependent child or adult family member
• Background check clearance
• Must complete required training prior to being assigned direct service work
• Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency
• Access to reliable transportation
• Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage
