Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant role at Luxfer Powders, a global leader in Magnesium and Zirconium based products and services. The Cost Accountant will play an integral role in period end reporting, ensuring accurate and timely inventory provisions, and will be responsible for monitoring and updating standard costs, direct labor rates, and overhead rates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant within the manufacturing industry and/or production control, commercial analytics, FP&A
• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 5 years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of BOMs and routings, transfer pricing calculations, Unrealized Profit in Inventory Provision calculations, inventory provisions and adjustments and year-end audit requirements
• IT literate, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience of using ERP systems to manage inventory
• High level of attention to detail
