Job Description
Maranatha Christian Academy seeks a part-time temporary Girls' Volleyball Assistant Coach to lead the JV or C-team and assist with building a program that teaches technical and tactical skills, along with valuable life skills through competition.
Requirements
- Complete all MSHSL and MSCHSA coach requirements.
- Assist with organizing a community outreach team activity.
- Develop a summer camp and summer training program.
- Develop a spiritual development plan for the season.
- Plan team bonding events.
- Meet with the strength coach to make a strength and conditioning plan for the season.
- Attend and be prepared for matches.
- Update scores and stats on required sites.
- Communicate regularly with families through the Safe Team app and in-person communication.
- Work with athletes on setting and reaching their individual and team goals.
- Connect regularly with athletes about their role and skill development.
- Attend a post-season meeting with the head coach.
