The Speech-Language Pathologist provides prevention, assessment, consultation, and intervention services for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders that impact their educational performance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathology License (L-SLP) or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working under supervision.
- Knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Louisiana special education regulations.
- Experience with the IEP process and documentation requirements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
