Assistant Football Coach

Lycoming College is hiring a part-time Assistant Football Coach to assist in the organization and execution of athletic practices and competitive events for the Lycoming College Football team. This person will also assist with recruitment responsibilities for new student athletes. The position requires a bachelor's degree and college-level coaching and playing experience.

Requirements

• Instruct student-athletes with sound principles and expert skills related to football
• Prepare individual athletes for games, set season goals and motivate students using techniques consistent with Lycoming College’s athletic program philosophy
• Assist in the design and implementation of schemes to prepare the team to be successful weekly
• Successfully complete the annual NCAA “open book” rule test
• Model integrity, respect and good sportsmanship at all times
• Recruit student-athletes who meet the College’s admission requirements, who possess the potential to contribute to the team and add positively to the student body
• Monitor the academic success of student-athletes
