Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Security

Lyft is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Security to help build and deliver secure services at scale. The role will drive security reviews, implement detections, and remediate findings. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant industry experience and expertise in cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with modern programing languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and distributed systems
• Deep expertise with one or more major cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud(GCP), Oracle Cloud, etc
• Expertise in cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts
• Experience with Kubernetes and container security
• Familiarity with securing and hardening Linux hosts
