Wireless Engineer - Cellular

Lynk is developing cellular-based space payloads and seeks a Wireless Engineer to design and implement air interfaces for satellite-direct-to-phone services.

Requirements

• Design and implement physical - PHY and medium access control - MAC layer algorithms and procedures for satellite communication links.
• Develop baseband modems on software defined radio - SDR platforms.
• Evaluate the performance of algorithms in simulation and on the target platform.
• Develop test software and drivers to support unit, integration, and system testing of all base station software functions.
• Perform link budget analysis of LTE and 5G system between satellite and UEs.
• Work with other team members to benchmark payload software applications.
