Custodian

Lyon County is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of its buildings. The Custodian will perform various tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as cleaning restrooms, drinking fountains, and windows. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a current Class C driver's license, and prior related experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Current Class C driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to Two years of experience in the field is preferred, but not required
• Ability to receive, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals relative to facilities maintenance
