Production Operator

LyondellBasell is a leader in the global chemical industry creating solutions for everyday sustainable living. The company is seeking a Production Operator to monitor and operate plant process equipment, evaluate operating status, and perform troubleshooting to maximize unit reliability and quality production. The operator will work a 3rd shift schedule from midnight to 8:00 AM and will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, following safety procedures, and performing equipment maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months previous experience in production or manufacturing position
• Mechanically inclined preferred
• Availability to work overtime or weekends on short notice as needed
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine correspondence, and speak the English language to effectively communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Basic mathematics and computer skills; SAP experience preferred
