The Tax Manager EMEA will be responsible for key components of the US GAAP and IFRS tax reporting process associated with the EMEA region, including interim and year-end tax reporting. The role will involve coordinating with third-party compliance providers and internal resources to ensure tax compliance obligations are met, as well as reviewing direct tax returns and Pillar II filing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional qualification in tax or accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, CTA (not required but preferred)
- Typically 8 years of relevant and accretive work experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
- Demonstrated understanding of tax accounting concepts and tax technical and research skills
- Demonstrated understanding of income tax principles as well as standard corporate book/tax differences under US GAAP, IFRS and various local statutory accounting principles
- Experience working on a global consolidated tax provision for a multi-national company
- Experience managing European tax compliance for a multi-national company
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
