Data Engineer & Backend Developer (m/w/d)

Lyreco is seeking a Data Engineer & Backend Developer to join their Innovation & Development Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, operating, and further developing data pipelines, designing scalable backend services and APIs, and ensuring data quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Sound knowledge in Python for data processing, automation, and backend development
• Very good knowledge in SQL as well as in the design and optimization of relational databases
• Experience in developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) as well as working with structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience in developing APIs as well as integrating internal and external systems
• Understanding of software engineering principles such as clean architecture, versioning, testing, and deployment
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented working method
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams as well as the ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Very good German language skills in writing and reading as well as good English language skills
