Project Engineer (Structural Design + Construction)

m2e Consulting Engineers is seeking a Project Engineer to lead and oversee complex engineering projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to codes and standards. The role involves project management, team leadership, budget management, and client communication, with a focus on delivering innovative and high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Active Florida P.E. license (P.E. license or registration in another state with 6-month reciprocity to Florida).
• Valid contractor license (building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform swing stage inspections and OSHA certification preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in construction, design, inspection, or estimating.
• Demonstrated project management experience in the field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly with manpower and budgets.
• Effective presentation skills
