Propulsion Mechanical Design Engineer

Mach Industries is a rapidly growing defense technology company seeking a Propulsion Mechanical Design Engineer to join its revolutionary new division, Mach Propulsion, developing a high-performance small turbine engine from the ground up. The role involves designing turbojet engine components and subsystems, working closely with test teams, and collaborating with fabrication, machining, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of mechanical engineering experience in propulsion, powertrain, or mechanical assemblies involving high-speed rotating hardware
• Proficient in Siemens NX and familiar with PLM tools like Teamcenter
• Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 for tolerance control and manufacturability
• Strong base in structures, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with prototyping and testing
