Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager - Transportation

We are seeking a skilled and inspired Project Manager/Senior Civil Engineer to join our Transportation-Roads and Streets team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Project Manager/Senior Civil Engineer, you'll take the lead on designing and delivering transportation projects from concept through bid documents and construction reviews. You'll collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality engineering solutions that shape the communities where we live and work.

Requirements

• Plan, provide design guidance, and manage technical delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects
• Communicate with clients regarding current projects and collaborate with project managers and our business development team to identify and position the firm to successfully win future work
• Effectively direct and support technical staff to deliver projects
• Assist project managers in preparing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule and prepare deliverables
• Assist with business development efforts to cultivate strong client relationships
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered PE in the state of Illinois
• At least 8-10 years of experience in public transportation design
• Experience in roadway, stormwater, grading plans, and maintenance of traffic in northeast Illinois
• Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians
• Previous experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads Designer required
