We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our close-knit, multidisciplinary team at Macquarie University's Special Education Centre (MUSEC) School, which caters for children with special learning needs. As a School Psychologist, you will provide high-quality psychological services to support the learning, wellbeing, and development of students with diverse and complex needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor or postgraduate qualification in Psychology
- Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school environment or within child psychology is desirable
- High-level knowledge and skills in psychological assessment, counselling, and evidence-based interventions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, families, allied health professionals, and external agencies to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for children, including students from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
