PT Instructor Pool - Law Enforcement Academy

Madison College is recruiting a pool of highly motivated and qualified candidates to teach part-time courses for the Law Enforcement Academy program. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis for the 2026-2027 academic school year. • Designing and implementing effective learning strategies and environments
• Delivering instruction of high quality
• Assessing student learning
• Advising students
• Participating in college service activities
• Using data to continually revise curriculum to improve student learning
• Actively working with other personnel in student recruitment, retention, and job placement
• Developing and maintaining curriculum in a variety of non-traditional formats
• Complying with college policies and directions regarding student testing, record keeping, advanced standing, providing grades on a timely basis, maintaining office hours for student assistance and counseling, etc.
• Designing and implementing strategies to engage students in the learning process
• Integrating the use of technology into the teaching and learning process
• Maintaining competencies as an instructor as aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System
• Demonstrating a commitment to the college's mission, vision, and values
