Job Description
The Judicial Assistant position provides assistance to Judges, attorneys, jurors, and the public in the Circuit Court, performing tasks such as typing orders and correspondence, creating forms, maintaining judges' calendars, and coordinating court proceedings.
Requirements
- Associate degree, 60 hours of college credit, or two years' experience working closely with the court system
- Madison County, IL residency requirements must be met within 6 months of hire
- Ability to abstain from public comment about any pending or impending proceeding
