Job Description
The General Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient monitoring of oil and gas production processes, including starting and stopping equipment, opening and closing valves, and assisting with minor maintenance. The goal is to ensure continuous production flow while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- H2S Alive certification is mandatory
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- WHMIS 2015 (GHS) or equivalent chemical safety training
- BOSIET / HUET / Offshore Medical required for offshore positions
- A valid Driver's License is typically required for onshore field positions
- 0–3 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Water Treatment is a strong advantage
- Experience working in a control room/field operations interface is a plus
