Masker (Weekend Shift)

Magellan Aerospace is a global aerospace company seeking a Masker for a weekend shift position in West Babylon, NY. The Masker will be responsible for masking and unmasking products according to work instructions and customer specifications. The position requires strong math and reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Able to read and interpret Aerospace blueprint.
• Exhibits good hand to eye coordination.
• Should be able to lift 25lbs multiple times during the work shift.
• Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, warehouse work orders and inventories.
• The ability to write legible notes and communicate with coworkers and superiors in English.
