Staff Data Scientist

Magic Eden is building the future of crypto entertainment and is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to own the data and metrics function for their casino and/or sports product. The role involves defining and developing key performance metrics, building risk monitoring and alerting systems, and translating data insights into business decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or Analytics
• Deep domain knowledge in casino and/or sports betting metrics
• Experience building risk monitoring frameworks and proactive alerting systems
• Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python or R
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Operator mindset with experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams
