Technical Artist (Unreal)

Requirements

• Develop, maintain, and optimize materials, shaders, and VFX in Unreal Engine.
• Own optimization workflows across the project (rendering, shaders, memory, lighting, asset streaming, etc.).
• Build tools, blueprints, and scripts that improve artist workflows and efficiency.
• Work across multiple disciplines in Unreal.
• Debug technical issues across content, performance, and pipelines.
• Write and maintain documentation for tools, procedures, and best practices across pipelines, tools, and procedures.
• Work with Art, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure assets meet real-time performance targets.
• Stay on top of current technology in Unreal.
• Author complex shaders/materials, and have expertise in debugging and troubleshooting systems.
