Material Handler

Role Overview

Material Handlers are responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse or distribution center. They work in a manufacturing and warehouse setting, operating fork lifts and using warehouse management systems.

What You Will Do

Loads and unloads product, reads production schedules, sorts and places materials, conveys materials, uses equipment such as an RF gun, and performs other tasks to ensure the successful operation of the distribution center.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience operating fork lifts, excellent computer and communication skills, and strong leadership skills. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety rules, and contribute to team effort.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience operating fork lifts with pole and clamp attachments in a manufacturing and warehouse setting
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Leadership skills
