MagTech is currently hiring for an Electrical Engineer for a manufacturing client in the Orlando, FL area.
Requirements
- Review and create electrical wiring diagrams for semi-custom units.
- Design control panel layouts with 3D CAD.
- Develops predesigned configurations for Addison’s proprietary selection software.
- Analyze Sequence of Operations (SOO) to verify proper controls wiring and application sequencing.
- Edit bills of materials in the ERP system to ensure proper unit electrical construction.
- Work with electrical component suppliers to ensure quality, resolve defects, and communicate technical requirements
- Perform electrical testing on prototype units.
- Ensure compliance with ETL, NEC agency coding standards, and other standards as required.
- Identify custom electrical component and sensor solutions for customer needs on a job-by-job basis.
- Work on cross-functional projects with mechanical/refrigeration, sheet metal, and controls engineers for NPI.
- Identify value add/value engineering opportunities and help drive solutions into production
- Interface directly with customers to troubleshoot installation issues and product operation
- Ensures a safe and healthy workplace while implementing improvements.
- Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of product and process design as assigned by the departmental manager.
