Job Description
MagTech is hiring a Hydraulic Systems Engineer to develop and oversee hydraulic systems, equipment, and machinery. The role requires extensive knowledge of Fluid Power & Industrial Controls, proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, and ability to mentor teammates and shop technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of Industrial Hydraulic design
- Extensive knowledge of Fluid Power & Industrial Controls
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor
- Ability to read and modify programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Valve Controllers
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Understanding of UL508A and NFPA 79
- Excellent documentation, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with little to no supervision
- Problem Solving skills required
