The Manager - NPME Engine is responsible for overall layout planning, material movement finalization, and installation and commissioning of assembly line equipment. The role also involves providing design inputs to the engineering team, planning for optimum utilization of existing facility, and process improvement. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automobile or tractor industry, with a background in mechanical or automobile engineering.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Auto Cad with various options to optimize and facility planning
- Material movement finalization along with trolleys design approvals
- Installation and commissioning of assembly line equipment
- Design Inputs to Engineering Team for ease of Manufacturing
- Planning for Optimum Utilization of Existing Facility
- Process improvement with model specific add on engines in test beds
- Knowledge of Basic assembly process
- Basic knowledge of Industrial engineering
- Prepare, execute & impart training to manufacturing/QA for new model assembly process
- Establish & monitor assembly process during Gen-1/Gen-2/Seeding/Pilot batches
- Audits of processes and system during SOVP & support for APPAP closure
- Planning & Execution of New hot testing set up
- Preparation of RFQ, scope, Technical Finalization of testing Equipment
- Preparation of Budget, RFQ, Comparison of suppliers, Requisition documents preparation
- Planning and coordinating of Trials at supplier end and commissioning in House
- Creation of gateway documents
- Hands on experience on making of Process sheets, PFA, SOP PFMEA, and digitization of assembly process
- Preparation of Process FMEA, PFD, Control Plans & SOP for new models
- Project Management for Engine Testing Readiness
- Engine Test bed proving out with co-relation trials & handover to the user
- Support Production Team for Ramp Up
- Green & Brown field experience of facility required
- Testing Equipment & Practices: CNG/CRDI system testing and conceptualization of special requirements
