Job Description
The Commodity Buyer will coordinate the implementation of savings projects, identify supply risks, and negotiate with suppliers to secure sustainable sources for future development projects. The role involves defining and executing a purchasing strategy, ensuring best pricing, quality, and delivery performance, and communicating with the MAHLE Purchasing Team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant purchasing experience
- 3+ years of relevant skills in negotiation, financial cost analysis, and market analysis
- 1+ year hands on experience reading blueprints and specifications
- 1+ year of experience working with manufacturing processes (stamping, injection molding, casting)
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Office applications, such as Microsoft Excel
